HOMELESS – St. Aidan’s Community College

 Class: Enda First Years

Teacher: Ms. Aisling Sheehan

The main aim behind this series of lessons was to get the students looking beyond the typical stereotypes associated with homelessness both locally and globally. We explored the stories of people from different nationalities, genders and socio economic backgrounds in order to get a feel for what it is really like to be homeless. The aim of this piece was for the students to be able to express their new understandings of this worldwide injustice and thus create a voice for homelessness.
